Our Digital Campus will help students stay on track to achieve their goals

In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic we are proud to introduce the Digital Campus. We are striving to deliver a holistic campus experience to keep our students on track to achieve their goals.

Our Digital Campus experience involves personalised tuition and engaging, collaborative online learning environments as well as everything you’d expect to enjoy in our physical campus environments – meaningful social connection, community engagement, health and wellbeing initiatives and career readiness programs.

Our Digital Campus is all about bringing the best of a Navitas experience to our students in their homes and facilitating a seamless transition to on-campus teaching when the time is right.

The Digital Campus is available at Navitas colleges across the world, and while the exact offering will vary slightly from college to college, the philosophy remains the same – to help our students stay on track and achieve their goals despite the challenges presented by this global pandemic.

You can find out more about our Digital Campus below. For more information on what this looks like around the world, please refer to our colleges for information (see links below).

Contacts and Latest COVID-19 Information

1. What is a Digital Campus?

The Navitas Digital Campus is about bringing the best of a Navitas experience to our students in their homes. It involves a range of opportunities for students ranging from digital classrooms to small group virtual sessions, one-on-one tutorials and tailored academic support.

Beyond the learning experience, we understand that social connection and community engagement are key to student success, so we are ensuring our Digital Campus concept includes a range of student support services, employability and career counselling, co-curricular activities and social opportunities as well as a focus on student well-being and health.

2. Which college/ campuses will be offering the Digital Campus programs?

All of our campuses will provide a digital campus approach to learning. While the exact offering will vary slightly from campus to campus, the philosophy remains the same – to help our students stay on track and achieve their goals despite the challenges presented by this global pandemic.

Please refer to each of our colleges to understand the unique programs and initiatives being offered in each location.

3. Does the Digital Campus offering replace the on-campus experience?

Since March we have moved to a remote teaching model to facilitate social distancing and allow students to comply with government restrictions to reduce the spread of the coronavirus. This has now evolved into our holistic Digital Campus offering.

Our Digital Campus is all about bringing the best of a Navitas experience to our students in their homes and facilitating a seamless transition to on-campus teaching when the time is right.

The Digital Campus helps to keep students on track and minimise disruption to their studies while travel restrictions and border closures are in place. However, we look forward to welcoming all students to our campuses in time because we know that nothing beats the experience offered by a physical campus in a vibrant university setting.

All of our campuses will provide a digital campus approach to learning. While the exact offering will vary slightly from college to college, the philosophy remains the same – to help our students stay on track and achieve their goals despite the challenges presented by this global pandemic.

4. How do students enrol?

The enrolment process has not changed. Students enrol directly with their chosen college in the same way they would normally.

5. Is the Digital Campus offering available for the full range of Navitas programs?

Our campuses are committed to delivering the widest range of course and subjects possible to ensure our students are able to commence or continue their studies. Please seek advice from individual colleges about personalised study plans for your students.

6. Do payment terms differ for the Digital Campus?

Standard payment terms continue for each of our programs. Please seek guidance from individual colleges who can advise on personalised study plans for each student.

7. Can international students participate in the Digital Campus offering without applying for a visa?

For students enrolling at one of our colleges in Australia, the Australian government has confirmed that students can commence their study from their home country once a CoE is issued (without having applied for or secured a visa).

8. Will the remote Digital Campus programs cover S2, S3 as well as future intakes? Or only S2?

The Digital Campus is available now and into the future. Once restrictions are lifted and students are able to attend classes on campus, the digital campus will still be available for blended learning and to support students in their studies.

9. Will timetables be flexible to cover time zone differences of participating from another country?

Campuses will be using a mixture of synchronous (live) and asynchronous (recorded or activity based) methods of teaching and learning – and we’ll be seeking to ensure that students from a wide range of time zones can interact with our learning.

Recordings of teaching sessions will be readily available, although our digital campus is so much more than a repository of classes – it’s a holistic learning environment.

10. What other additional services will be available (academic/student support)?

Our Digital Campus experience involves personalised tuition and engaging, collaborative online learning environments as well as everything you’d expect to enjoy in our physical campus environments – meaningful social connection, community engagement, health and wellbeing initiatives and career readiness programs.

Each student will benefit from a tailored study plan that will include additional academic support to ensure that every student meets their potential and stays on track to achieve their goals.
