NIC is in daily contact with affected students (current as well as continuing students), who will be able to arrive onshore and switch to face-to-face enrolment mode as late as Monday 16 March.
We are developing personalised study plans in consultation with each student. Students will be contacted individually during the week starting February 17 to enrol with the aid of an NIC Student and Academic Services team member.
Orientation, additional engagement activities and up to three weeks of classes will be run in blended mode (including through zoom recordings and WeChat sessions) to enable affected students to engage with NIC while the travel restrictions and quarantine requirements are current.
Students are able to switch from distance learning to face-to-face delivery until Monday 16 March.
NIC continues to monitor the situation and engages closely with students, their families and our channel partners.
